What it does
Sharing controls who can see your work and what they can do with it. You share with named people in your organization, and each person gets a level of access you choose. There are no public links. Everything is shared with specific people, which means access is always something you can see and take back.Sharing something
1
Open the share dialog
Choose Share on the item you want to share. On a report it sits in the top bar, next to the faces of the people who already have access.
2
Pick the people
Start typing a name or email in Invite by email, then choose people from the list. You can add several at once.
3
Share it
Choose Share. Each person is added at Viewer level to start with.
4
Adjust what they can do
Change anyone’s level in the list beside their name, or remove their access entirely.
You can only share with people who are already in your organization. If someone does not appear in the list, an admin needs to invite them first in Settings, under People.
Levels of access
- Viewer can see the item but not change it. This is what new people get by default.
- Editor can make changes, and can share the item with others.
- Admin is held automatically by your organization’s admins across everything.
