What it does
Settings is where you manage your own account and, if you are an admin, your organization. Open it from the user menu at the bottom of the left sidebar. Settings are grouped into Account, which everyone sees, and Organization, which only admins see.Your profile
Under Profile you can change the name shown to your teammates, upload a profile picture, and choose your Interface theme, either Light or Dark. This panel also lists every organization you belong to and the role you hold in each, with the option to switch between them.Notification preferences
Under Notifications you decide what reaches you and how. There is one master switch for in-app notifications, and separate switches for each kind of email, so you can keep the ones you want and turn off the rest:- an item is shared with you
- someone commented on an item you have access to
- someone replied to a comment thread you are on
- someone mentioned you in a comment
- an analysis you own completes or fails
Account security
Under Security you can manage how you sign in.1
Add an email address
Choose Add email address and enter it. Pluvo sends a verification email, and the address is added once you confirm it.
2
Change your password
Choose Update password, then enter your current password and your new one. New passwords must be at least 8 characters. You can also sign out of all other devices at the same time, which is recommended if you think your old password may have been used elsewhere.
3
Turn on two-factor authentication
Choose Enable, then pick either an Authenticator app or SMS. For an authenticator app you scan a QR code, or copy the setup key, then enter the 6 digit code to confirm. For SMS you enter your phone number and confirm the code you are sent.
4
Save your backup codes
However you set it up, Pluvo then shows you a set of backup codes. Copy them and store them somewhere safe, because they are how you get into your account if you lose your device.
Organization settings
These are available to admins. General is where you set your organization’s name and logo. People is where you manage who has access. You can see everyone in your organization along with their role, status, and when they joined, plus any invitations that have not been accepted yet. A seat counter shows how many seats you have left.1
Invite someone
Choose Invite user, enter their email address, and pick a role. They get an invitation and appear as pending until they accept.
2
Set or change a role
Change someone’s role directly in the list. There are three roles: Guest, Member, and Admin.
3
Remove someone
Use the menu at the end of their row to remove a member, or to revoke an invitation that has not been accepted.
Moving someone to Guest transfers ownership of what they own and makes their access view only. Pluvo asks you to confirm first, and the change cannot be undone.
