Metrics
This section of the user guide will introduce you to metrics, and teach you how to use them effectively in the rest of the app!
Metrics are being migrated into Variables. information on this page may be outdated until the migration is complete
Within Pluvo, you will find that Metrics and Drivers follow the same type of operational logic. The key difference is that a metric can be understood as a measurable outcome, whereas drivers (true to their name) drive progress to any established business goal.
Metrics, Drivers, and Variables are key elements of the Pluvo experience - so let’s dive into the Metrics tab!
Within the Metrics tab, you will find a list of metrics that the user has created as well as the premade metric library that are available out-of-the-box!
The images found within this guide will be less populated with financial data than your org. That being said, you will find that the metrics used in the 3-statement model reports are all categorized as such within this view.
When you create a new Metric, you will have the choice to either categorize it within one of these folders or leave the category blank. Doing so will place your new metric outside of the category folders.
To edit an existing metric, simply click on the metric name and then ‘Save Changes’ when you are finished.
Now, let’s take a look at how to create a new metric.
